Raysol Drugs maintains a fraud, waste and abuse compliance program. This page sets out the standards we hold ourselves to and how anyone — a patient, a Medicaid recipient, an employee or anyone else — can raise a concern about them.
How to Report a Concern
You can report a compliance concern in any of the following ways. You do not have to give your name.
- Call the pharmacy and ask for the Compliance Officer: (212) 348-2117
- Write to the Compliance Officer at Raysol Drugs Inc., 1870 Lexington Avenue, New York, NY 10029
- Send an unsigned letter to the same address, marked for the attention of the Compliance Officer
- Report directly to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Office of Inspector General: 1-800-HHS-TIPS (1-800-447-8477)
You may report anonymously, or ask us to keep your identity confidential. Whether or not you ask, we treat what you tell us as confidential. Reports are directed to the Compliance Officer, who keeps records secured and conducts any interviews in private.
No Retaliation
No one will be intimidated, threatened, coerced, discriminated against or retaliated against for raising a concern in good faith, for taking part in an investigation, or for declining to take part in something they believe is wrong. This applies to patients, Medicaid recipients and employees alike.
Any employee who intimidates or retaliates against someone who has reported a concern faces discipline up to and including immediate termination. We also follow the protections in sections 740 and 741 of the New York State Labor Law and in the federal False Claims Act.
Our Standards of Conduct
Everyone who works for Raysol Drugs, including its owners and officers, is required to read, agree to and follow our Code of Conduct, Business Ethics and Conflict of Interest Policy, and to renew that commitment every year. In summary, we commit to:
- Honest and ethical conduct, including the ethical handling of any conflict between a personal interest and the pharmacy’s.
- Complete, fair and accurate invoices, claims for payment, reports and records — never a false or misleading entry, and never altering or destroying a record outside our established procedures.
- Billing only for prescriptions we intend to dispense, reversing claims for anything not picked up, and returning any overpayment within 60 days of identifying it.
- Never using pharmacy property, information or position for personal gain, and never accepting a gift or payment intended to influence where a patient fills a prescription.
- Protecting confidential information, including patient health information, and never disclosing it without authorization.
- Employing no one excluded from a federally funded health care program. We check the OIG and GSA exclusion lists before hiring and every month thereafter.
- Complying with all applicable federal and state laws and regulations, and cooperating fully with audits and investigations.
Compliance Officer
Our Compliance Officer oversees the program, investigates reports, and reports to the pharmacy’s ownership. Concerns are directed through that office, and any concern involving the Compliance Officer is handled by the owner or an appointed agent instead.
Other Places You Can Report
You may raise a concern with any of these bodies directly, without telling us first:

- Medicare (CMS): 1-800-633-4227
- The Compliance Team, our accrediting body: (215) 999-7181
